lilE picks up a pile of black sand on the Big Island’s Black Sand Beach Park.
littleR was having fun most of the time we were shooting, but she soon decided it was more fun to pull the blanket down and play peek-a-boo!
This was my first attempt at a home studio session. I assembled the “studio” in about three seconds by tossing bigR’s blanket over two of the dining table chairs, just in front of the sliding glass doors (for better lighting).
I can’t imagine how good this could look in the backyard with some night late-afternoon light!

While not the first time Mr-R has painted on his new easel, this was the first time little sister was invited to join in the fun. And what fun it was!
