I am about to do something I haven’t done in over eleven years …
@dianarchy: Just saw a convertible blue Sebring - miss yuo!
Ugh. Now my phone has decided I have read enough today and may no longer play in the tubes. Fine, I’ll pull out my textbook!
I had the good fortune of spending an hour and a half with the kiddos at work today. Busy Wife had an appointment at 10:00, and our imaginary babysitter flaked out at the last minute.
I fully expected someone to have a problem with two little youngsters hanging around the Tactical Operations Center, for any amount of time. In truth, it turned out not to be a problem at all (probably because everybody disappeared about the same time they showed up).
The kids had an unexpected amount of fun inside a medium DRASH tent, playing with locked keyboards, white board markers, and a frillion foot long spool of twine. bigR even ran the twine all the way across the basketball court, nearly causing a half dozen soldiers to suffer debilitating knee injuries.
It was a nice break from … the nothingness on here to play with the kiddos before I get to that I’m grumpy where is my medicine cop-out.
Pictured above is bigR’s self-installed handprint identification system. It really works! (Not really.)
Ok what the hell? I was trying to write another Flickr pseudo blog post, but the thing still cut me off after a few hundred characters. Grr.
It’s amazing how many awesomely excellent blogs I have been reading lately. If only I had the means to comment from my phone more reliably!
